Topponcino is a soft, thin mattress-like support pillow traditionally used in Montessori infant care. The word "Topponcino" is of Italian origin and means "little pillow." It was introduced by Maria Montessori around 1940. Topponcino serves as a tool to create a secure and prepared environment for a newborn outside the womb.

Composition and Care Instructions

Topponcino Filling: 70% cotton, 30% polyester fiber, cover 100% cotton.

Can be machine washed at temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius. Do not iron. Do not bleach.

Cowers: Satin (100% cotton). Satin is a 100% cotton fabric made from high-quality, long-fiber cotton. Thanks to its special weave, the fabric has a smooth, very soft, and lightweight surface resembling silk. Satin is particularly gentle and pleasant on the skin, which is crucial for a newborn. Satin is durable, easy to care for, and dries quickly.

Can be machine washed at temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius. Can be ironed at high temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius. Do not bleach.
